Forum Question
« on: January 22, 2011, 02:10:09 AM »
Does the forum get shut down after a certain time?  Each night when I try to read recent posts, there's nothing there when there were many that I hadn't read earlier?  ....strange

no it doesnt get shut down....but its unread post since "last visit" so once you come to the site and click on that link......if you dont read then on that visit, well the next time you come to visit those post will not appear only those posted since your last visit will show up....... however at the bottom of the home page there is a link "show most recent posts"  click on that and you should be ever to find what you missed:)

This is why I like the email notifies (that I'm no longer getting as of earlier this week).

I save these notifies for a few days so that if I want to look at a certain post a 2nd time, I just open the email and check the link.
This is helpful when I'm crunched for time and want to respond later.

I hope this feature gets fixed soon!

I understand that, but even when I click on the link "show most recent posts" it doesn't bring anything up?  It never used to be like this before.

I know... I even went back and reset the "Notify" on EVERY thread on the Home page and it did no good.
It's possible our profiles have been corrupted.

All we can do is wait and see what happens.  :(

Until we get the e mail notification issue figured out using the "show most recent posts" at the bottom of the home page is the easiest method to find all the new posts.
