PREVIOUS GASTRIC BYPASS
« on: January 23, 2011, 11:47:06 AM »
I had gastric bypass surgery about 9 1/2 years ago and lost 130 lbs.  As with most of these surgeries I have regained about 30 lbs and want to put a brake on it before it gets out of control.  Since my innards are wired a little differently than others I was wondering if this would have any affect on the success of using this program.  Any others who have tried the program post surgery?

When I went to an informational meeting about the surgery they said that afterwards, you have to eat small portions of mostly protein. Is that still the case? If so, it fits perfectly with FTS.

I echo what owensmath said...
I too have read that eating a high protein, low sugar, low starch diet is best after this surgery.
That makes this lifestyle perfect

Well, thanks for your input.  It's true a high protein diet is recommended after the surgery.  Over the years though, carbs are handled easier and I'm definitely a carb addict!! I start my trial fat to skinny program tomorrow.  Will let you know how it goes.

It's the sugar that's put your 30 pounds back on.....don't kid yourself about it, be strong and get rid of them out of your world, 60 days from now you'll be shocked at the results!
