Dougs Meal Plan 1/23/2011
« on: January 24, 2011, 10:18:47 AM »
Hi Guys, Umpa and I took the grandson 18 month old Everest back to Miami yesterday after being with us for two weeks, now that's exercise!!  :o In the truck on the way up we enjoyed deli roll ups for lunch then had one meal at Ruby Tuesdays. Finished it off with a little peppermint stick ice cream when we got home.

Here's the plan

Brunch- Deli Roll ups, 0 carb

Dinner- Cajun spice broiled Talapia covered with Shrimp and Alfredo sauce, cauli mash (I like mine better) and grilled green beans, 3 carbs

Dessert- 1/2 cup Peppermint Stick Ice Cream- page 450 Bakery book   1/2 carb

Doug, I have had Ruby Tuesday's garlic mashed cauli and it's okay but I prefer mine too. Maddysmom and I have talked about this before. At least it is an option but it makes me want to eat at home more than I eat out.

Amen to eating the mashed cauliflower at home! :)  I followed Owensmath's tip to put a little mayo & some shredded cheese, and the result was light & fluffy wonderful stuff!   It's one of my favorite foods!

Everest is a very handsome young lad!
Must get his looks from grandma!  ;)

And I know what you mean about "exercise"!
A couple of my grandchildren will run me ragged in no time. But I'll admit... I love it!!!

I hope you guys had a wonderful visit together.

I like the meal plan forum you implemented.. It helps me with ideas...

Doug, I dont think I am doing well in detoxing, what should I do? :'(
