I also have to share this great news
« on: February 08, 2011, 01:16:15 PM »
So my hubby though not fat, is a huge eater... He is pretty active due to his job, but even then his last blood work a yr ago was concerning..He just got his results and drum roll please...

I dont have his exact #s but I remember pretty much what they were...

his glucose was borderline and now its 85

his triglycerides went from the 400's to 91

bad cholesterol went from the high 200's  to 170

yay!   we started last year and though we weren't perfect, it has made a huge impact....I cant wait to see my blood work...

This helps prove that a low carb lifestyle is healthier for folks whether they are overweight or not.

I'll bet your numbers will be much better too!  :)

That is great for your husband Alex.  You had said in another post that you don't think you look like you are losing weight.  As you can see by your husband's blood work, amazing things are happening inside, even if you can't see it!

That's a great point ShihTzuMom1. Sometimes we plateau and wonder why we're not loosing but there is so much good stuff going on inside that we need to remember that. I need to remember that now that I haven't lost for a week. It all works out and all that energy we have is our bodies working the way they should.

During weight changes (up or down) our bodies stop now and then to "readjust".
With some folks, it happens more often (and for longer periods) than others.

We are all different.
