There are 2 ways to place a photo in your post, a link from another source or a direct upload. The easiest way to place a photo into your post is by placing a link from another location where the photo is posted already such as facebook. To do this right click on the photo and copy the photo's location. Next from the icon choices above the smily's that you see when posting choose the second one from the left and click on it. You'll now see (img) (img) in your post with your curser right in the center between the 2. Right click your mouse and click paste. Your photo location is now between the 2. When you click post down the bottom your image will appear.
Posting photos with a direct upload requires you to resize the photo to make them the correct size. We have a size limitation to keep the files small. This keeps our forum running quickly as it's not bogged down by big files. OK here's what you need to do; (instructions for PC user's) Not sure about Apple maybe someone can respond with instructions.
- Right click on your picture
- Put your cursor on "Open With", now choose Microsoft Picture Manager
- In the menu bar choose "Edit Picture"
- On the right hand side of the screen choose "resize"
- Choose "predefined width x height
- Choose "Email-Large 314x235 px"
- Click OK
- On the top left side of your screen choose FILE, then choose SAVE AS. Name your file and exit. When you exit you'll be prompted that changes have not been saved. Choose "don't save" to keep the original file intact in it's original size.
TIP- Before saving your new picture click "auto correct" and see if you like the quality of the picture better. If you don't simply click the undo auto correct arrow on the menu bar to go back.
Now post your photo by choosing "additional options" on the bottom left of your post page. Browse for your photo and attach it.
