Scott in Florida - 25 weeks
« on: February 23, 2011, 07:12:00 AM »
Well, the 50 pound mark is proving to be elusive so far.  This week I lost .6 pounds so I still have exactly 1 pound to go to hit 50.  Looks like that will be next week, which will also mark half a year on this way of eating.  Really, that's not bad at all - 6 months to lose 50 pounds that I've been carrying around for about 15 years.  I'm pleased and thankful.

Let's all have a great week!

I know EXACTLY what you mean.
Being so close to such an important milestone can be unnerving and, at the same time, feel SO GOOD!!!

I too have not been this "slim" for MANY years.
The last time was shortly after I quit working the shipyards back in the early 1980s.
Stopping that strenuous work (but eating the same) caused the FAT to come on like gang busters.

Nonetheless, I'm grateful to be back at that point.
And am looking forward to reaching my end goal and staying there!!!
What you do today is what matters!

And just think, Scott, if you hadn't lost those 49 pounds in the past 6 months you would have surely gained another 5 or 10 or ....
Congratulations on your success so far. That 50 pound mark is waiting for you somewhere close by.
