Dealing with stress via Cheesecake
« on: March 18, 2011, 08:10:04 AM »
I had a horrible day yesterday. It was all about the kiddo and school and basically life. My wonderful husband made me the Berry Cheesecake for my birthday this week and I came home to a big slice of it. He made it crust-less and without berries to save some carbs. But we covered each piece with whipped cream and it came out to 4 carbs a slice. The best four carbs I have ever ate!!

That's my new blonde look. I have always been blonde but about 10 years ago it started changing into a darker blonde. So for my birthday I went and had it done. I haven't been in a salon in ages, due to my size I was always afraid I wouldn't fit in the chairs. Thanks to FTS that is not a problem anymore and I can fit into any chair anywhere! WOO HOO!!

Yep... Your looking younger everyday, Sherri!  :)

Life dishes out stuff to deal with on a constant basis.
And kids... Well all us parents of older (or adult) children know what that's about.

Sounds like your blessed with a wonderful hubby, Sherri.
Having a partner that helps to ease the bumps of life is a precious thing!
What you do today is what matters!

You really look good, I am sooooo impressed with your weight loss.  Good thing you mentioned your husband, otherwise I was gonna ask if that 165 lbs you lost was because you got divorced.... :D just kidding!!!  You are truly amazing!!! :D :D :D

Ok Sherri.....I think I have figured out why I haven't lost as fast as you!  I keep looking at the fork in your picture and wondering if that's a HUGE fork, or a very small piece of cheesecake!  ::) I must admit, I have been cutting my slices WAY bigger that yours.   ;D

LOL it's not a giant fork. LOL

I have been doing small portions. I love the sweet stuff and if it's in big amounts I just don't loose. That's why I buy the jello in the cups too, it's just too easy to make a big bowl and eat it all. :)

Thanks for all the good comments about my husband. I told him you all said he rocked and he loved that. LOL

You look good and the cheesecake looks good.
