well, we all have been on f2s for a while now, and i went from 305 to 287! my pants are fitting me a lot looser now. and the letuce sandwiches arent bad. although i have to admit, i do miss bread. so much easier to use than letuce.

Hello!  Congrats on your weight loss.  At first, its all about getting use to it, and then it becomes 2nd nature... You will feel more energized and feel much better..

Best of Luck!!!

My 16 daughter is doing too and she has lost 18 lbs...

Hi JNobles! :)

The one thing that I missed pretty quickly was toast for dipping in over-easy egg yolks.
The bistro breads from Dixie Diner work pretty well as do the low carb breads from Sami's Bakery.

I found that these breads are great for occasional use:

http://www.samisbakery.com/products/low-carb/

And a bit higher in carbs (and in price per ounce):

http://www.dixiediner.com/carb-counters-deli-style-bistro-bread-p-612.html

And of course... Check out Doug's and Umpa's Bakery book for some really good bread! ;)
What you do today is what matters!

I find a large head of Romaine lettuce supplies about 10 good size wraps, The smaller ones inside I use for hot dogs, the real small ones get shredded and used in the wraps. Buy a head and peel off the leaves, rinse them and pat dry, then stack them with a paper towel between each leaf. Store in the fridge, works great  ;)

Jnobles I eat a lot of sandwiches made with Flax Seed Pitas. Have you tried them? I get them at my local walmart in the deli department. There are four carbs in the whole pita, but they are really big. So I cut the pita in half and fill that puppy up. I use them for breakfast as scrambled egg pitas, lunch filled with tuna or my fave is dinner filled with yummy cube steak! I usually only eat half a one a day but they are really good and give you the feeling of eating bread. I also like to fill it with cheese, add some butter to the outside and grill it up. Best grilled cheese ever! I added the link below so you can see a package but you should be able to pick them up at your local super walmart. That brand also offers lavish bread, which is basically flat bread. They are really huge but you can cut them in half and they are perfect for making pizza on. Only four carbs per serving and they are quick and easy. Check them out, they are really tasty and have really helped me.

Yes SherriPie is sure right..... my teen stuffs them with cheese and pepperoni or chicken and grills them to make a casadia out of them.... pretty good  ;)  I like to stuff mine with either chicken, egg or tuna salad.  I can't eat a whole half of one any more...they are very filling
