After a few weeks of trial and error...
« on: May 08, 2011, 08:00:45 PM »
After a few weeks of lots of trial and error! I have finally taught myself to push away the plate when I'm full. Not to just eat because it's there. and like Umpa said, drinking water while you eat helps! I am just thrilled that I finally can push away the plate.

Good for you! :)

I've become pretty meticulous about putting just the right sized serving on my plate and taking it to the table, rather than filling my plate up there. That seems to help, too.

Good job again -- sounds like you're doing great!

@Rena, I do the same thing. I used to fill my plate up, and felt the need, I guess out of habbit, eat what was on the plate, but i get what I feel I "need" to eat instead of what I "want" to eat. and that works!

Hi nobles! :)

Pushing away from the plate (or table) is a much more effective exercise than push ups for weight loss!
Congratulations!!! :) :) :)

Hi snobles! :)

Our bodies are amazing machines.
They work so much better when we stop gunking them up with carbs!
