Just Whites
« on: May 13, 2011, 09:50:11 AM »
I was watching the videos here on the forum (very entertaining) and notice that Just Whites are used in a few.  Have any of you tried these and your opinion please?
Thanks,
Amber

Amber I went to get them once because of one of the recipes and it was 18 dollars for a can of them . So  I said never mind  my 80 dollars a month to Netrition is  a good bit out of or grocery budget . !!! So no I have never tried them because they are too expensive  for me I will just use old fasion egg whites . ;D

I paid $6.69 just to try them.I would just buy eggs  ;) There are nice to have in the cupboard if you run out of eggs but I agree with Jo.If you saw them in one of our videos its because we were just using them up.You can buy them in the baking aisle of the grocery store.

I agree too!

Just Whites are convenient but you pay to have someone else separate your egg whites.
The sad part is it costs more and they keep the yolks!

Besides, the yolks come in handy for other recipes where you want to strengthen the egg flavor.
What you do today is what matters!
