I kind of feel bad the way I posed this topic; feeling now like I was asking for a “free shirt”. After all you both have done, I’d actually be happy just to be able to buy one of these on your website and help promote the Fat to Skinny way of life. If you do sell them, I'm first in line to buy one, especially a polo (golf) shirt.

I try to keep our recipes to basic ingredients, things you can get in the grocery store :) But some of the stuff is just cheaper online than in the grocery store.Like Bobs red mill flours. ;)
I have a grandson who likes junk food and I was shocked when i went to buy him cereal and chips how much they cost! :) I haven't bought that stuff in years!

cool, thanks, got a link? You store them in the freezer? Ever try getting the seeds and grinding as needed? thanks

I have never had to freeze them cause I use them .I would try freezing a small amount. ;)
I think mouseissue has ground his own flours i have not tried that, only because my time is so limited. If the price is reasonable i will pay i to free up my time for other things. :)

Hmmm, I was reading about storing flax seed flour/meal and it says keep in the freezer or harmful bacteria could grow, that isn't true? How long do you keep it on the shelf? The web stuff says seeds up to a year and ground only like a week? thanks

Hi F2S-Awesome! :)

Here's what I do with almond and flax flours.

Unopened... I keep them in a cool and dry place.
After opening, I roll the open end of the bag, put a clothespin on it, put the bag in a ziplock bag, then the ziplock into the fridge.
If you bought a LOT of flour and won't be using it all within a couple of months, freezing works too.

Flours (prepackaged or self-ground) keep for a LONG time doing this.

The key here is keeping the flours COOL and DRY!
What you do today is what matters!
