I now realize I sounded like I was slamming buffet restaurants for everyone.
Allow me to try a different tact to express my thoughts on them more accurately...
Buffets are OK for those who've been living the FTS lifestyle for a while and know how to restrain themselves in the presence of high temptation.
The food is right there for the "grabbing".
This makes it much easier for the our "carb/food addict" impulses to get the better of us.
At traditional restaurants, we take our time ordering and think about what we will be eating (and what we'll avoid).
This added time (and distance from the food) gives even the newbie, ample time to "think twice" LONG before the food is in front of them.
So, if you feel you've developed your "FTS Muscles" to the point you can do well comfortably at a buffet, then, by all means, go and enjoy!
But, if you have ANY doubts, it's wiser to error on the side of safety!
