Starting over...again!
« on: June 20, 2011, 06:06:57 PM »
Today is my new starting date, once again.  I had great success the first time around but let a couple jumps off the wagon take over.  So, I've started a new ticker and I'm already down a bit over 2 pounds for the first day.  I know it's probably just water and the fact that I haven't eaten yet, but still..2 pounds!

Hello there Becky, have you cleaned out all the foods from the house that make you stray? I find most people who "fall off the wagon" do it because the stuff they shouldn't eat is still in the house. If it's other family members that are keeping those foods in the house maybe you should have a talk with them and relay how important this is to you  :-\

Becky what helped me was to make sure I had stuff with me so I wasn't temped by things away from home.  Nuts for a quick snack.  Sugar free candies and gum and put a low carb tortilla in your purse for those times when you have to have something to eat quick.  You can then order a hamburger or even a sub sandwhich and throw away the bread.  It just takes planning and practice that's all  ;)

Oh wow... I don't know why I always forget to ask for no bun.  I guess I expect them to look at me weird  LOL  I will try that next time.  I always feel bad about throwing away food.  :-\
