We had fun.. We had a few issues with the kids (they can drive you crazy) but it was good.. Also, I have been on Royal Caribbean and I like their cruise better. Since Carnival is cheaper and is called the party ship, it tends to bring in a different crowd. My oldest daughter loves it just for those reasons.. She and Jr patrtied till late...
Food wise, well, I stuck to as much low carb as possible but the fact that there is a language barrier with the staff, its hard to get an answer.. I think what got me was that a couple of times I thought I was drinking coke zero and I actually drank a regular coke but didnt realize it till my hubby told me.. Stuck to water after the 2nd time.. Im very sensitive to sugars and trust me, just looking at sugar I gain.. Their sugar free desserts are amazing, but I know that they still must be high carb.. Alot of their protein are in sauces and you just dont know what the sauces are made of.. The best dinner I had was the Lobster and Tiger shirmp with parmesan spinkled broccoli.. It was so good.. Anywho, it is what it is at this point..
The next cruise I plan will be on RC... Donna, I hope we can do the DC trip and if so, we will make it a point to go there..
Today is a new day and I am back to eating for sure low carb. ( Isay for sure since I will make my food and know what is in it) BTW: I re-read F2Son the ship and it was great.. Put my mind back on track.. Enjoyed my reading for sure....xoxoxox
