Okay, I never really got started before, but I am going to be coming back with a vengeance.  As so many can testify to as well, I've tried any and everything, and as much as I know it, I just wouldn't listen to what really works.  In my absence I did ediets fresh delivery, diet-to-go fresh delivery, sensa, and although I did lose about 10 lbs, I did not feel like I was making any real progress after that first bit.  My 60th birthday is coming up on July 7, so that should be one heckuva wakeup call, huh?

I will be going shopping this weekend and I've got my FTS cookbook and dessert book that I am going to use.   The main key for me is to make food ahead of time so I can easily heat up when getting home from work.

Look forward to sharing my success with you all and to continue reading about yours, which is such an inspiration.

I know it can be done - I know I can do it - I will do it!

You are SO right ... that drift is a tsunami - received big time!  Now I am getting excited about the prospect of success, and you are testimony to that katary,  I remember watching one of your videos cooking something which looked very good - think I'm gonna go find it again.

Thanks.

Hi Gail

Sending virtual hugs  :) :) and yes you can do it!!  You are surely on the right track.... being prepaired is a must for me as well.  That way you won't be caught in that starving mode when you don't care what you eat.
Good luck and I look forward to seeing your success  ;)

PS. I love your ticker  ;D

Welcome back to the family, Gail! :) :) :) :) :) :)

I too am 59 and have tried most all diet plans out there with similar results.
Lose some weight... Put it back on PLUS more!

Stick to this Gail!... FTS REALLY does work!
But you have to work it for it to work for you! ;)

The great news is, after a while, it won't be work at all!... I LOVE this lifestyle!!! :) :) :)
What you do today is what matters!

Thanks everyone ... appreciate the pep talks and encouragment.  And you're right, mouseissue, it IS up to me to do the program, because we all know it absolutely does work.

One of the hardest things I'll have to determine before going to the grocery store this weekend is what two recipes I want to make this weekend for the upcoming week!

I'm ready to join all you wonderful losers in Loser Land (and some day Onederland - haven't been there in longer than I can remember).

Gail, you can do this. We have all been there, starting and wanting to lose but just not giving into it completely.  It's up to you, you have the control and you can do this.

Look at all the losers around here - Rena, Jo, MaddysMom, Katary, Mouseissue...we all started the same way you are, with a need to lose weight and be healthy. If we all can do it...so can you! Take that step and stick with it, you deserve it!

Join us on the losing team  ;D

Hi Gail..

Welcome.. This is a great site..I too have tried many things.. starvation, liquid diets, pills and even the HCG while learning about F2S.. None worked for me except F2S..  HCG helped me lose some but it really was F2S that did it for me... I havent felt this good in a long time.. what I love even more is that it makes me self concious of what I eat and I feel the accountability and I never felt that before.. The awesome bonus to all F2S is the friends/family you meet here...

I wish you a great journey to feeling and looking great...
Alex
