Thanks guys
We had a great time. Staying on track was easy because for the most part, the food there was carbless! (well, if you just avoided the bread at the restaurants and said NO to the endless supply of Margaritas for the Senoritas). For the most part I ate the burgers, chicken, pork, and proteins. We were out of the country so I had to avoid the salads (they did me in last year. I got so sick, it ruined my vacation).
Although I haven't dropped any weight in a while (not sure why), I ate well on vacation, took part in a spin class, ran 2 miles twice while there and did a day in the gym. The resort is so big that we walked all over the place./ There was endless exercise. I have also dropped the use of my asthma inhaler which I had to use before exercise (or shoveling the new england snow
) and after exercise. I have also stopped drinking coffee~ I used to have at least 5 cups a day. All of a sudden, without even trying, I notice I just don't reach for it anymore. Must be the energy. Another good thing.
My scale broke...not a bad thing. I don't know what I weigh right now...hopefully the same as I did before left, but I do know I would like to be a size or two smaller. I don't think I'm going to buy a new scale either. I'm going to give this a go without a scale and see what happens!
I seem to be maintaining...
