Great points mouseissue!
My husband literally "craves" water. He easily drinks at least a gallon or more a day and has for years.
The benefits are really obvious in that it is very cleansing.
It hasn't in anyway helped Gary with losing weight however.
He has been at FTS very diligently with me going on 7 weeks now, but no
weight loss as of yet for me or even him.
He is 6 feet tall and weights in at 330lbs. He's generally a big man anyway with a barrel like chest. When we were married 28 years ago he weighed somewhere between 180 and 200 pounds. He used to lift weights and even then drank lots of water. His colon ruptured about 3 or 4 years ago and he had to have emergency surgery. He was almost a goner.
Fortunately he came through the surgery fine and only had to have a colostomy bag for 4 months then the doc was able to reverse it.
Usually this isn't the case. We were both SO relieved!
Anyway, since then he can no longer lift weights but still has a large chest size. He's turns 64 next month.
He has always owned his own custom cabinet shop and has remained very hands on so his work his quite physical even now. This however is the extent of his physical activity. He doesn't enjoy even walking with me in the evenings or on weekends.
He prefers to hold his lazboy recliner done in front of the t.v. when he's home.
I am keeping a food journal this week that I will be posting at weeks end. Hoping you all will be able to give me some insight as to why we haven't lost in what will be seven weeks.
