Down another 4lbs.....

Glad to report another 4lbs lost.......found out what my problem was.

I know we don't bother counting calories with this lifestyle change, but I just couldn't
understand why as strict as I was with the carbs I wasn't losing as I should.

Mystery solved...I counted the calories as well as the carbs, and discovered I was
eating under a 1000 calories a day.  My body went into famine mode and was holding
onto the fat!!!  I increased my calorie intake while maintaining my 20 carbs per day,
and the weight started to come off.

Way cool renee!!! I wonder if that's my problem LOL.  I'm stalled again and have been for a while.  Will check out this information.

This is the reason why "diets" don't work, when you drastically
reduce your calorie intake, your body thinks there's a famine, and
it needs to store your fat.  Plus you crave the foods you love and
eventually go back to your old eating habits.

With the FTS Lifestyle you get the best of both worlds, being able
to eat the foods you love, and losing weight. ;)

Here's to a nice loss for you on Sunday!!!!!!

The number doesn't really matter in the grand scheme
of things....a loss is a loss, no matter what, but those
numbers do encourage us don't they.....

So very true, renee!

Being hungry will stop ketosis (i.e. fat burning) dead in it's tracks.
And if one stays hungry long enough, the body will begin to digest muscle tissue.
This is VERY dangerous! :o
