Bad night!
« on: October 10, 2011, 10:22:53 PM »
I know we post a lot of the good that goes on in our lives, and never the bad, which I think is really unfair to everybody. Tonight for dinner I had 3 lemmon pepper chicken legs and that was it, and truthfully, I was totally stuffed!! Now, it's after 9pm, and I feel like I'm starving! I tell you if it weren't for my husband, I honestly do not think I could have come this far. I want to go and raid the fridge  ;D knowing that a moment on the lips, forever on the hips! That has been my theme through out the whole thing. We all have our, what we think are our "breaking points." I have to give kudos to those who are doing the way of life by themselves! What will power they must have! Sometimes, not to often, but sometimes, I just feel so weak! Just have to push through the trenches!

I love Renas shakes for late night munch attacks. The key is to have some thing ready that is low enough it won't cause you a issue and it will fill you up fast. ;) Everybody has their moments, even me and doug. ;)

I am proud of you for not giving in to your temptation.  Take it from me you really will regret it if you do.  You are so much closer to meeting your goals.  The key is to keep stocked with on plan foods.  A can of chicken vienna sausage would have filled you up and it is 0 carbs.  I like to keep Cocoa Roast Almonds for snacks too.  You can do this!

Stephanie I'm with them, eat the hamburger...toss the bun. I also like no carb cheese sticks for the late night hunger attacks. As long as your body is actually hungry, it's okay to eat something healthy.  :)

Hi Stephanie! :)

Life is life... It's not a perfect journey. The key is learning and improving it as we go along.
What you do today is what matters!

Mouseissue, I always enjoy your comments, your words of wisdom, maybe you should be writing a book  ;D  I am sure if you did it would be very encouraging and interesting.

Eat the hamburger!  Be sure to pile on the "no-carb" goodies.  Like a few dill pickle slices, mustard, a slice of onion, a slice of cheese.  Sometimes you just got to do it.  At least you aren't craving sweets.  Even then, there are things you can have.  Then go for a walk and go to bed, sleep like a baby!  No guilt there!  :D  I have found that if I eat my dinner later in the evening, I don't get hungry for snacks before bed.  If I eat early, there are too many hours before bedtime and I am hungry for another whole meal.

Hi Steph, fats kill hunger faster than anything. Sherripie gave you a great answer. If I get hungry after dinner a piece of GG with a slab of Cheddar or Jarlsberg cheese is my answer  ;)

Thank you all for the respones! @Doug, will have to try the gg bread deal! Sounds yummy!! Every once in a while, I'll eat early for some stupid reason, but the majority of the time, I eat around530-6pm. Any earlier than that, I'm just kidding myself!
