Thank You Sherripie and Umpa, I have been sticking to it even though it hasn't been easy with 5 others eating differently then I am. but I am deturmand to do this and eventually get them all to join me.

Thanks Umpa for the encouragement, I needed that. My friend and her daughtor have now move out (THANK GOODNESS), it is just my Hubby and boys and they are supporting my all the way.

I was asked this morning in an email from a type 2 diabetic what the difference is between FTS and Atkins. As I commonly do I sent her back a link to her answer...this was the link.

When I looked at the first post in this topic I discovered it was Alex's first post  :o  Look at you now Alex!!!!!! I'm so proud of you and all our FTS members for stepping up and adopting the "YES I CAN" attitude.  8)

YAY!!!!!!  I was a little (blushing) stubborn at first, but the TRUTH is that this is the ONLY way for me... on top of that, the way my AIC went from 8.4 to 5.9 in 3 to 4 months is a blessing... I have had a few struggles here and there because I am an emotional eater and God knows that 2011 has had its challenges..Here I am, 47 lbs lighter when in my old habits I probably would have been 47 lbs heavier
