The first week's weight loss includes the stored fluid from getting those stored carbs out, so usually, I believe, weight loss is less over the next weeks or months.

Just keep doing the plan, and enjoying the lowered appetite. It makes weight loss so much more comfortable and doable!

I usually average 10 pounds a month.  But I am content just to be losing and really do enjoy the way I eat.  Drinking alot of water is very important.

I have only changed my lifestyle 2 months but I have averaged the same 10lbs a month, but like you I am ok with it because I feel GREAT!

Hi again, Enjah! :)

I haven't heard from you since last April. I hope all is well with you.

You absolutely correct about the first pounds lost being primarily water.
It then quickly shifts to FAT.

For most, the more we lose and the closer we get to our goals, the slower our progress becomes.
Part if this is due to the fact that there is "body volume" for our systems to maintain.
With less to maintain, less energy is required for maintenance (i.e. staying alive).

You are so right about making FTS a pleasant experience (which is easy to to). ;)
Since FTS is a lifestyle, none of us should be overly concerned about how fast we lose.
Just make the journey to our goals as enjoyable as possible so that we can keep living this way.

Tony
