Low carb Game Day Nachos

INGREDIENTS
1 flax & millet lavash
½ pound ground beef
½ package taco seasoning
½ cup shredded lettuce
2 tablespoons onion
1 roma tomato(chopped)
2 tablespoons sour cream
½ cup mexican or cheddar cheese

Lightly toast a Millet & Flax Lavash until the edges are golden brown available at www.samisbakery.com Note the back of the package, 11 carbs but 8 are dietary fiber; so one whole flat bread is only 3 carbs. Brown ½ pound ground beef, venison, turkey, or chicken in skillet. Add ½ package of Taco Seasoning to browned meat. Add cool water one tablespoon at a time until desired thickness is acquired, set aside. On cookie sheet break up crispy lavash into decent sized chips and overlap slightly. Add meat to the piled chips in a large mound, and then add ½ cup shredded Mexican cheese. Place under broiler until cheese is just melted, not caramelized. Add 2tbsp fresh chopped onions, one chopped Roma Tomato, ½ cup shredded lettuce, and a large dollop of sour cream.

Tip – This can be a very filling snack because of the meat to chip ratio. Fill those lavash pieces with as much yummy topping as possible. If you like it spicy add chopped jalapeños. You can also reduce your sugar intake further by using the “slim trim lavash” available from the same vendor.
