My loss of 80+ pounds was due to 2 critical factors:
1. The eating plan outlined by the Fat To Skinny book
2. The personal accountability and support of the members of this forum
For #1, I thank Doug. So grateful for spotting his brightly-colored book on the shelf at Barnes and Noble back in August 2010, and for the clear and simple way he explained how this works.
For #2, I thank the rest of you on this forum. I won't start naming names because I will almost certainly forget someone. But I really appreciate the support and encouragement and advice I received here as I lost my weight.
Now, I want to maintain my
weight loss by always staying under 180 pounds. As part of that, I will continue to post my current weight each Wednesday morning in my signature file (see below). This factor of being held accountable and my weight being posted each week for all to see is a big help for me. Different people have different incentives I guess.
