Turkey neck
« on: December 01, 2010, 07:18:14 PM »
Turkey neck - you know that sagging skin on a woman's neck. Lots of elderly women have it, but so do lots of not-so-elderly who have lost weight. Anyone have suggestions of how to treat it, avoid it or fight it?  Creams, recipes, home remedies, exercise, massage...?

I rub Shea butter (I use Clinique Body Butter)on my neck twice a day and say the exagerated "A  E  I  O  U" at least 10 times.  I think it's helping.

I just found some inexpensive body butters at Walmart, way cheaper than the Clinique Body Butter I was using.  They come in jars with a large variety of scents.  The name brand on them is SPAresource.  I have only tried the vanilla sugar scent so far.  They have shea butter, cocoa butter, vitamin E, Macadamia oil and soybean oil.

I put it on my neck 2 to 3 times per day and I have been putting it on the rest of me after a shower while still wet and letting it soak into my skin.  Seems to be working.
