Thank you so much Morgan :) I can't believe it for real.  I read in this community how people would lose weight in weeks and few months and I never thought that could also be me but here I am before all of you in amazement after so so many years of disappointment and struggle but Baruch Hashem (blessed be G*d) for Doug and you guys. !

Hi Jay12, looks like we're neighbors :)  I live just 40 miles south in Elizabeth City, NC.  I'm glad to hear how great this is working for you as well.  I'm loving this new way of living.  If you know of any great stores where you can find most of our kind of foods, please share with me.  I'm having to order a lot of my foods online.  Not bad, I just hate the waiting lol  Keep up the good work!  All the people on here are so encouraging to me.  I love reading the posts.

Shalom Jay.  I am so glad you found FTS.  You mentioned that your wife read the book as well.  Is she joining you on this journey?  It is nice to have support at home.  My wife says she supports me, but then she goes and buys gourmet cupcakes for her and the kids.  It is hard not to partake, but I don't.  I know she isn't trying to sabotage me, and that she and the kids shouldn't have to give up their sweets just so I can lose weight, but it is an extra challenge.  i just make sure I have something delicious from Umpa's bakery book and eat along with them.

Best wishes,

Mark

mdanziger have you made any of the sweets from the fat to skinny bakery book for your kids? Most were tested out on grandson and the teenagers in the neighborhood. Grandsons favorites are peanut butter and jelly cake, carrot cake and doughnuts ;)
