« on: November 10, 2010, 08:10:40 PM »
Hubby did it again! Fabulous flavor.

Lime Cumin Marinated Steak

Yield: 1/3 cup, ideal for up to 2 pounds of steak

Ingredients
¼ cup olive oil
2-tablespoons fresh lime juice (maybe a little more)
1-teaspoon ground cumin
¼ teaspoon chili powder
¼ teaspoon salt

Instructions

1.   Combine ingredients and evenly coat meat.
2.   Place in a zipper-locking plastic bag. Close bag, removing air.
3.   Refrigerate 15 minutes to 2 hours for flavor. Grill or broil to desired doneness.

I was really impressed with the combination of flavors Beebs and it's very easy to make.  We were getting tired of just plain meat and a steak sauce or fresh garlic. lol
Peace and blessings,

I used a london broil and I only had quart size ziplocs so I cut it in half for two meals. The first one I  cooked on the grill. The second one I sliced thin for stirfry with cabbage, green onions, portabellas, and pesto.Yummy good! :)
