Hi Skychant, this doesn't have to be hard it can be easy and delicious!

Turkey, caulimash, green beans, FTS Pumpkin pie with pecan crust, cream cheese stuffed celery, fall spice balls, deviled eggs, shrimp cocktail.

There's a perfect VERY low carb Thanksgiving day!

Welcome back  8)

Thank you Doug...Thanksgiving is really about family and spending time with them.  So many of us get caught up in the menu and focus on the food that we forget to count our blessings.  I really just want to see my family all together and enjoy their company.  I can already feel the effects of detox...the sugar fog has been lifted...and I feel better already...I have lost another 2 pounds on my second day.  I have a smaller size pair of jeans that I want to fit in by Christmas.  I know that I can do it... ;D

So true, Morgan! :)

We can only live life one day at a time.
So too, one day at a time, we meet and overcome life's challenges including getting healthier.

I am happy to report that I survived Thanksgiving and all the yummy sweet potato pie.  I am down 2 more pounds and know I can get through Christmas as well.  I hope that everybody else enjoyed their Thanksgiving meal.

Way to go skychant!... Congratulations!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
For most of us, losing weight over the Thanksgiving holiday is a real achievement.

Before FTS, I would always gain usually 5-10 pounds around this holiday (and again after Christmas).
And like you, I've learned to enjoy the alternatives, and stay the course!
