Hi, Jacki! :)

anjelhands is right!
If you can't seem to get 8-10 consecutive hours of sleep, naps will help tide you over until you do.

That's how I get by as I usually don't sleep more than 4 hours at a time. I've learned that if I can't get back to sleep within about 15 minutes that I may as well do something instead of worrying about it. Then I take a nap or two to get the hours in. I have sleep apnea & use a CPAP even during most of my naps so I can get into that deep, restorative sleep.

Hope this helps.

You could try taking 2-3 hour long, luxurious, restful, restorative "naps " 2-3 times every 24 hours to get enough hours of rest in.

SOON, I will be able to do this!!  Up till this week, even trying to rest or nap during the day has been impossible because of the restless legs going 24/7…  I think my Lyme doctor (of all people!!) figured out at least part of the problem though!  He said the Clonidine I was taking to help with the opiate withdrawal symptoms CAN cause INSOMNIA and restlessness!!  Everything I'd seen said it caused drowsiness…!  So he suggested I try leaving it off and sure enough I SLEPT last night!  So hopefully tonight will be the same :)

Check this recipe out  :)   http://www.fattoskinny.net/index.php?topic=335.0

You could use crushed up pork rinds in place of the GG crisp bread if you don't have it.  Actually That is probably what I would use to begin with.  I don't usually have the GG's around.  also whenever I run across a recipe that calls for cream of mushroom soup I like to use alfredo sauce.  Bertolli's has a nice one that has mushrooms added in it...perfect for this  ;)  Maybe not exactly the same but I bet it would be delicious  :D

How much of the Alfredo Sauce would you use for each can of Cream of Mushroom soup? I'm finally going to try this!

I'm sorry Jacki but I have been MIA from the forum for a while and am just now seeing your question.  You might have to just mix some in and see what the consistency is.  The soup is a bit thicker because it's concentrated still when you mix it in so to not have a soupy mess I would start with half the amount of the soup and go from there   ;)

Thanks, TooSweet! I tried half a jar and it was pretty close! The only thing I didn't like is the pork rinds! I'm finding I just don't care for that taste or texture :(

Next time I have another idea! If it turns out, I'll share the recipe :))
