What I Have Lost VS. What I Have Gained...
« on: May 07, 2015, 11:13:25 AM »
Hey guys! Happy Thursday! "Are you ready to rumbleeee?!" Sorry,  just bracing myself! Cause I know the 19yr. Old will be watching wwf later on tonight! 😭😭😭
You know, my husband started way before I did! (Guess tht means I'm a lil more stubborn?!:)but this is midweek for my second week, and I'm "stable!" Haven't lost or gained, but like Tony said, it's not a race, (but I gotta catch up to the 'ole man!)it's just living right. I figured since I was going through the hell of detox...why not rid myself of the 'ole nicotine habbit as well? I know, I'm glutton for punishment I guess! Friday will be one week of not using anything! I've felt nauseated, and down right miserable & would stab someone for some nicotine! Haha...
But on the plus side, I've got twice the energy(thanks Umpa!)I can't explain it, but I just plain feel better. Andddd June 1st, we will take flight outta "her" house!!

Hi, Stephanie! :)

Would you run a footrace with someone having a 50 lb. sack of concrete on your back???
This is why women should never compare their progress to their male mates.

Men tend to lose faster than women due to having much higher testosterone levels.
Testosterone is a very strong metabolic stimulant.
So don't measure your progress against your husband's (or anyone else, for that matter).

Taking on two major life changes simultaneously is a challenge. But not impossible.
If you have the determination and commitment to do it, you WILL succeed at both.

After 3 days of non-smoking, a body will finish detoxing from nicotine.
Then it becomes entirely a situation of mind over matter.
If you keep your head in the right space, nothing will stop you.

We'll be right here Stephanie, to help you in any way we can.
So you go for it, girl! ;)

Tony

Thanks Tony! I just never ever realized how much sugar was in practically everything! Even right in front of our eyes. Like putting sugar into tea to "hidden sugar" in the hamburgers! It's just crazy. But truthfully though, like me, given the knowledge, it's amazing how many choose to ignore!😆thanks Tony!
