The body will extract sugar from the path of least resistance. It's easier for your body to remove metabolize fuel from intake then from stored fat. Remember EVERYTHING we eat and drink turn into 1 of three things in our bodies; a FAT, protein or carbohydrate. Of course Carbs then metabolize into blood sugar (glucose) and what we don't burn we store as future fuel...FAT.

I hear it all the time...1 beer won't hurt, 1 glass of wine won't hurt, 1 martini won't hurt. The fact is it does hurt....one turns into 2 turns into 3 turns into everyday.

Alcohol WILL derail your weight loss......so will alcohol free beer.  :o :o

Hi Sherrie Lynn! :)

Having an occasional drink is fine. But, be careful.

Alcohol causes elevated triglyceride levels in our blood.
When that happens, FAT burning stops cold until our systems metabolize it down to lower (normal) levels.

So if you find your progress slowing or stopping, loose the booze! ;)
