Help... my cravings and hunger are back.

Hi all,

I have recently added in unsweetened cocoa powder with 2 g carbs and 2 g fibre (to make hot chocolate with cream) and suddenly I am hungry and have cravings again.  Do you think this can be the problem?

I was feeling great a few days ago and that things were getting easier and suddenly I want chocolate all the time now.

When I was trying the foodslike the spinach bread it made want will bread which is my red light food for sure . I think just starting we need to stay away from anything that might trigger or serious food addiction . Thats just my thought we need to wait awhile and get all this sugar out of our system.

Jo I am with you 100%.  I don't know if I've lost any weight this week either and the first week I did well without bread.  Then last week I introduced the spinach bread, some 1 carb flax bread and tortillas.  I think I see a pattern here!

I am going to stay away from all of that right now till I get all of this out of my system & I lose some serious weight

i agree with the 2 "ladies" if you feel,or know that a certain food is making you WANT something that you know is BAD......then stay away from it:(......... tonite as i ate my salad....the chick next to me had a ribeye sandwich & fries...... she didnt eat 1 single fry..... as i stared at the fries with my mouth watering.... i asked "arent you going to eat those?" she looked at me like i was ....... stupid:(... then in my moment of what i thought was brilliance... i proceeded to tell her about jicama..... BIG MISTAKE....lol..... she said that is the WORST pick up line i have ever heard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i turned to my wife and said " I LOVE YOU" & we left:)

I want you all to remember something. The base core of our FTS program is not spinach bread, sugar free sweets or other replacement foods...the base core of our program are protein, low sugar veggies and fats...these are the foods that should make up the majority of your plate....everything else is for variety so you can enjoy a complete balance of foods in your life long routine. Treats should be kept as just that....treats, and as stated in the book if a plateau occurs the first thing I want you to remove are all products with sugar alcohols.

It's very easy to stray simply because FTS allows such freedom in your food choices.... remember to stay focused on the core and you'll be OK.
