Beebs my is bobs red mill.I bought it at the grocery store. Its very common.I originally bought it for gravy its a thickner, but unlike cornstarch its a zero.Omit it if you can't find it just brush on the liquid so you don't use too much. ;)

It seems like a lot of trouble to make these bars...but at 1.5 carbs per bar, it's probably worth it.

Kathy it is very easy. You just make your chocolate chips ahead of time.I make extra and keep them in the freezer for recipes so when I need them I have them. These are AMAZING!!!Make them and you can thank me later! :D

Hey umpa...I tried making the chocolate chips, but they didn't seem frozen enough after 3 hours, so I left them overnight.  The next day they were about the same though.  I broke them up into chocolate chunks but they are still softer than I expected.  Does that sound normal or do yours actually get hard like regular chocolate chips?

Mine get hard but i can still chop them with a knife.Does that answer your question?I make a large batch at a time because of the Bakery book.I am trying to master chocolate chip cookies right now  for the book. ;)

i am going to make a chocolate chip pancake for breakfast with the 1 minute muffin recipe.  i have to make a batch of these chocolate chips to keep on hand for that.
