Vienna Sausage
« on: September 25, 2010, 07:07:04 PM »
I found that Armour chicken Vienna Sausage has 0 carbs.  It is great to take along when you are on the go.  I bought mine at Food Lion, they were even on sale.  They have a few different kinds that also have low carbs.  I ate some with slaw today and imagined that I was eating a hotdog.

Boar's Head hot dogs have zero carbs, I don't think I've seen any others that are zero, has anyone else?  I don't eat hot dogs much but Doug loves them.

Hebrew National Beef Franks are also only 1 gram net carb per frank.

I like the flavor of these better than others I've tried.

I can only find these at Food Lion and Dollar General.  I have been craving them for snacks.

I love the chicken Vienna Sausages especially since they have NO CARBS. I keep them at the house for my son for a quick snack. Umpa I never thought about adding cheese to them. I'll try that for him next time. :)

I like the Oscar Mayer Selects.. no nitrates or nitrites.  I get them at Walmart.  They have several varieties including Angus, New York Style and Chicago Style (not that I can tell the difference).  If I can eat low carb, and eliminate some of the other toxins as well, that is worth a little extra $ to me.
