Hi Sherri!  :)

Not losing any weight (even gaining a little) in only 3 days is quite normal.
Losing weight moves up and down. It's the overall TREND DOWNWARD that matters in the long run.

And like I mentioned to you on another post, when we're not feeling well, our weight loss may stop due to our bodies' defense mechanisms. Our bodies will tend to conserve energy reserves (i.e. fat) used to help beat the illness.
What you do today is what matters!

Well I  stayed the same ! I did expect it because I lost 2.6 last week that is like a 10 lb loss for me . We are going to the Mall of America in Sept for Tylers birthday I sure wish I could lose all my weight by then ,thats like 8 months . I could only dream  ;D ;D
I am thinking about doing away with my coffee addiction that I have in the morning now that my carb addiction is gone . It feels good to be free of the chains .Who knows maybe that is what is stalling me I know that everybody (well most )drink it . But I have checked my BS before and after I drank a cup and it does rise a tad .

Oh well just trying to make sure I am not doing something  to stall my weight loss cant help but think It is something simple that I have just not caught yet! I think the mealplans from the biggest losers and the ones that have met their goal's help alot  . So when someones sees mine they can say hey Jo that might be doing it ,or I can look at a big loser and say maybe i will try tis mealplan for a day or 2 .

So BIG LOSER"S and GOAL REACHERS  please keep putting your mealplans up !!!!
Have a good day !

I don't think removing coffee is a good idea Jo.When you add it back, it will be a issue.Just stay the course my friend. ;)

I agree with Umpa, Jo!

Plus caffeine withdrawals are not pleasant unless you enjoy a non-stop headache and edginess that lasts for days.
Been there... Done that... No thanks!!!

Also, some coffee each day has been shown to provide health benefits.

Coffee (1 carb per cup) in moderation should not slow you down.
But I would suggest you drink no more than 3 cups a day.

Take a very close look at any foods or beverages with sweeteners.
Sugar alcohols in sweeteners will cause weigh loss to slow down and sometimes even stop.
Try removing them from your meal plans for a while and see what happens.

Thanks Tony , I really love my coffee i drink half decaff so I am not getting to much caffeine . But I do drink more then 3 carbs . Doug says 1 carb per cup gary says no carbs for coffee and I have read both on the internet . But maybe my body counts it as 1 carb per cup which would mean that i am going over 20 some days . is it 1 carb per 8 oz cup ?

Hi Jo,  :)

An "average" cup of coffee is 5 liquid ounces.
Coffee mugs hold twice or much more than that.

I'm not convinced that there are enough carbs in coffee to trigger an insulin response (assuming you don't overdo it).
Two or three cups a day should not be an issue at all.

Like I said before, try refraining from all sweeteners for a while to see what happens.
