How long to see a weight-loss?

How long does it generally take to start seeing weight loss?  I started 1 week ago and have been faithful---but no loss yet.  I will continue!!  Just curious how it has been for others?  What can I expect?

It's different for everyone depending on activity level, current metabolism, portion control and carb intake. I remember one of our forum members had to drop to less than 10 carbs per day to finally kick off her weight loss..... I'm sure she'll chime in here soon :) if you don't start seeing the scale drop this week we'll need to evaluate your intake, start making a log now of everything you're eating and drinking so it will be easy to post 4 or 5 days from now.

Welcome to the forum pammyb!!  Your journey to a new healthy life has just begin.  Once the weight starts to come off you will be amazed at the steady pace.  Even if the scales don't move, you'll notice a difference in how your clothes fit.  Good luck, we look forward to seeing your progress.

Welcome to the forums pammyb. If you're not seeing any weight loss yet double check your labels. I totally messed up when I first started with my vitamins. Yes you would think gummy vitamins would have registered with me as sugar intake but I was a newbie and didn't realize. It was little things like that when I first started that slowed down my initial weight loss.
