20 carbs maximum per day. I have managed vacations, weddings and Thanksgiving and have not gone over 20 net carbs per day. It just takes a little thought to plan your day around your event . She could start by having as low as possible carbs for breakfast and try to plan ahead for lunch. There would more than likely be salad and meat-no problem. If it's sandwiches she could stick a low carb tortilla in her purse and just take the meat off the sandwiches and have some Russell Stover SF chocolate in her purse to help her pass up dessert. If she is going to eat like this the rest of her life, there will always be occasions come up that you have to think about before you just start putting stuff in your mouth.
