End of week 4 ( and cheated )
« on: November 02, 2010, 11:49:33 AM »
The end of week 4 saw a reduction in weight lost, due to some cheating and just being lazy, and by lazy I mean not wanting to cook the meals I should have, but going out to eat and making the wrong choices, lets see there was the pizza one night, homefries at Bob Evens another night and the sweat potatoes at the diner the other night, after all the slips this week I came away with a 1 pound loss for the week, I'm sure it could have been another 3 or 4 lb loss week if I had stayed on track, well live and learn, I'll keep my nose to grindstone this week and report in next Tuesday, good luck to all.

That's pretty amazing, because many of us stick to the bare bones and follow the plan to the T and lose NOTHING in a week. You are lucky, but I wouldn't press my luck again just to be safe.

Hi David,

Like Shihtzumom1 said, just get back into the F2S lifestyle and you'll be fine.

Every time we purposefully not follow this lifestyle, there is at least one reason why.

Think about what was going on in your mind when you started to eat those "poisons" again.
Write it down and come up with a strategy to avoid eating them again.

For example, if you were feeling too lazy to cook, prepare some ready-made meals and keep them in your fridge and freezer so that you can nuke 'em real quick with no fuss.
Also, always keep your favorite low-carb snacks handy for moments of temptation or just plain hunger.
What you do today is what matters!

MY GOD!!!... You guys are taking me back to my grammar school days at Immaculate Heart of Mary's.

I especially remember my fifth grade teacher, Sister Edwards.
She was like a large, tall marine drill instructor in a nun's habit (dress).
This lady had a HEAVY ruler and was very generous with the knuckle slaps on desk tops.

If a knuckle slap didn't work, she had a "board of education" (thick piece of lumber shaped like a LARGE paddle with holes drilled out) under her desk she would use without hesitation in front of the entire class!

If that did not work, it was off to the principal's office... The den of terror!
I still have nightmares!!!  :o :o :o :o

I know, I know... I was a spunky little kid.  ;)
But I think I turned out OK.
What you do today is what matters!
