Sausage Quiche

1 Pound pork sausage, browned
8 ounces shredded cheddar
6 eggs
½   teaspoon  salt
Dash pepper
 1 cup heavy cream

Put  the sausage in the bottom of a large pie plate. Top with cheese.  Beat the eggs, salt and pepper , then beat in the cream. Slowly pour   evenly over the sausage and  cheese.  Bake at  350  for 35-45 minutes until knife inserted in center comes out  clean. Let stand about  10
Minutes before cutting.

Makes  6  servings  ( 3 usable carbs each

 :)
This was one of my favorite recipes that helped me lose  88 pounds   on my low carb diet

Sausage Quiche
We had this for supper tonight.  Very good.  Quiche doesn't need a crust.  Everyone liked it.

Last night, I made Izzet's bread recipe. My 14 year old son said, "Mom, we could use that instead of the flat bread for our mini-burgers for football games!"  WOW! He's right!

Thanks Umpa!  :)

Last night, I fried thin boneless chicken breasts using the pork skins (ground up in the food processor) for the coating.  Just used a little salt & pepper and it was delicious!!  They browned SO pretty too!

I'm thinking you could buy the little boneless chicken strips and make chicken tenders this way.  That would be GREAT football food!  :)

What a wonderful idea Maddysmom!  :) :) :)
Just have a low carb dipping sauce (like Walden Farms spicy BBQ sauce) on the side.... YUM!  ;)
