Dried fruit measures differently than fresh, 1 cup of dried cranberries is equal to 2.5 cups of fresh  :o

Rena if you melt a box of sugar free orange (even better if you can find it cranberry) jello in 1 cup of hot water and add it to the mix.  It will set up very stiff like the stuff in the can  ;) ;)

I like to use Raspberry SF Jello to get the Cran-Raspberry flavor.

Thanks, everyone! I really love cranberry sauce and I've made it from scratch, but that was before FTS. I'm really excited about making a SF version this year. I'm the only one in the house who loves whole berry sauce, since my family all like the jellied. We're having a friend over for Thanksgiving dinner who follows Weight Watchers and she's all excited because we eat a bit of the same stuff -- like mashed cauliflower, etc. :)

Andrea, I got Raspberry SF Jello to use with this recipe, too! Maybe I'll mix one Raspberry and one Orange. YUM :P

We're talking volume here, aren't we - like how many actual berries fit in a cup?

Yes, most of the stores stock up on a lot of fresh ones this time of year. I can also find them frozen the rest of the year. I've never made anything with the dried ones before, although I have eaten Crainsins -- before FTS, that is.

I loved having cranberry sauce this year! I just made it the same as on the back of the bag -- a cup of water, with a cup of Xylitol, and the berries. It turned out perfect! I'm going to buy a few more bags and freeze them. :)
