thedaltons6,

Good for you with being honest!  :) :) :) :)
Being accountable with yourself will help make you stronger for the next temptation event.

Sometimes weight gains are delayed a day or two.
And, you most likely will "stall" weight loss for a couple of weeks and have to detox again.

So if the scale scares you, stay away from it for AT LEAST three weeks. Four would be better.
Detox should not be anywhere near as bad as the first time and it should pass more quickly.

The important thing now is to re-commit yourself to a F2S lifestyle.
If you do, any weight gained from Thanksgiving will be lost with MUCH more to follow.
You CAN do it!!!

Plan ahead for Christmas now!
That way, you won't further delay reaching your weight loss goal.

Marty,

Be careful "flirting" with taco shells, sauces with flour for thickening, etc..
Some taco shells have more than 20 net carbs each!  :o
It's VERY easy to sabotage yourself!

Chicken cordon bleu crusted with pecans is YUMMY!!!  :) :) :)

Hi beebs!  :)

Replace the "bleu" part with "chicken breast (or thigh) stuffed with swiss cheese and ham".
Cover that in buttery crushed roasted pecans, and you've got something VERY special!  ;D

My Thanksgiving wasnt carb friendly, however I am so happy to say that I was really good.. I think it had to do with the fact that I cooked and cleaned everything by myself and didnt feel like eating...

I guess that is a great thing...

Your commitment to the F2S lifestyle is really shining here, Alex!
Many folks would think; "Heck!... I busted my rear end making all this food. I "deserve" to enjoy it!".

Kudos to you, Alex!!!  :) :) :) :) :)
