« on: December 27, 2010, 07:05:22 PM »
I made a few changes to Dougs very delish recipe and made a FTS version of hamburger helper. Makes 4 servings at 4 carbs a serving

1lb hamburger /turkey meat cooked
1/2 cup Alfredo sauce (6 carbs )
4 oz farmers cheese, shredded
1 teaspoon butter
1 clove finely chopped garlic
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1LB bag of cauliflower (10 carbs)

1- Cook cauliflower in micro till done but still firm
2- melt the butter in a non stick skillet over medium heat and saute garlic..... add Cauliflower and raise heat to medium/high
3- pan fry Cauliflower until it shows a bit of color
4- pour the Alfredo sauce and a bit of water into the pan along with the cheese and mix well over heat
5- add meat stir .
5- cover pan and shut off heat, wait 3 minutes
6- place in serving dish and sprinkle with oregano

Step # 2:  Jicama? It's not in the recipe. Please clarify, because this looks like a great recipe. Thanks.

Sounds delish Jo, another good twist would be to substitute hot Italian sausage meat for the hamburger meat.  8)

I dont know country girl I was gonna tell you about the pizza I have never froze it but it warms up well in the microwave or the oven is even better . And this stuff My husband will eat the whole thing if I let him LOL ,so no need to freeze anything here ,but I have made it before for just me and it stayed in the fridge for 3-4 days & warmed up well in the microwave .

 Good luck with your surgery

Hi Shawn.

I too am concerned about Jo.
Her account "joagain" has been deleted. :(

I'm hoping she's still here, just under a different name.
If so, I hope she makes her presence known.
If she's gone, she will be truly missed!!! :'( :'( :'(
What you do today is what matters!

I hope they come back and play. I like them both and thought they contributed a lot.
