I know you know Katary but not everyone reading this does :D That number will vary after you settle into your new body and dependant on activity level. When i work out i can eat alot  more carbs then when I am working at my desk doing contracts.I adjust my carb level depending on what activities i am going to be doing. This is only for people though that have lost their weight not people still trying to lose.We should probally have a maintanance board though because there are alot of people that have lost their weight already. ;) i will bring it up to doug

Hi Pal, sorry for the delayed response, crazy busy schedule has kept me away from the forum this week. Here's the deal, it sounds like you have the same metabolism as I do....walk down the bread isle and BAM!! two pounds come on  :o. I've found over the years that I must stay under 20 carbs per day to maintain my weight, I actually rarely exceed 15. This is never a problem for me because as you know we've replaced and continue to replace every type of food we want and I eat great. As you know I'm not a couch potato...I'm an active guy and you also know I detest the gym. I refuse to get into a habit of eating that REQUIRES exercise to battle the food. To me that's a sure fired way to end up FAT again...why....because getting older, or hurt or simply slowing down and falling out of a scheduled exercise routine is inevitable so why set myself up for failure. In my mind staying thin WITHOUT the requirement of exercise makes far more sense. That way if I do find myself more sedentary in the future I'm already eating to stay thin. Make sense?

I'm sure as you move along you'll find your happy spot, when you do it will be easy...easy....easy...to maintain.  8)

Soooo did I read in another post that 34 inch pants are loose on you :) That 32 inch waste I predicted for you is in sight!!  ::)

Great picture Katary.  It must have been wonderful for you to walk into your reunion feeling confident.  I'm sure there are others that didn't go because they were not feeling so good about themselves.  Congrats on your successful journey and may it continue.

Hi There Gary!

Looking great there young man!!!  :) :) :) :) :)
You are a true inspiration to the rest of us!

As was said before, your body is adjusting to the new you.
So don't be too freaked out about the small ups and downs.
Just follow Doug's advise and allow what you eat (not exercise) dictate your weight.
After you system settles down with the new you, you may be able to eat more carbs than you think.

Now about the brewsky...
The same thing happened to me a week or so ago when I had a few beers one evening.
I otherwise stayed true to F2S and lost 1 pound by the next morning anyway.

I also noticed a 3-day weight loss "delay".
By otherwise staying true to F2S caused another several pounds to fall off after the "delay".

However, I know that those nasty "carbs" are evil sneaky devils and can fool you. >:(
And knowing that alcohol increases blood triglycerides, it makes me leery.
That's why I've resolved to not imbibe in the brew (or other alcohol) more than once a month.
What you do today is what matters!
