That's too cool, Gary!
I'm not so sure it's the lack of exercise as it is the self-perception created from being FAT for so long.
How your clothes are fitting is evidence of that.
Our self-image is burned deep into our psyches.
So being (and seeing ourselves as) FAT for a long time will make us feel like we're still FAT, even when we're not.
Experiences like this help toward remolding your self-image.
As time goes on, this new self-image will be forged deeply into your mind... Then, you'll no longer expect to see Mr. FAT Guy when you think about your appearance!
You're so right, mouseissue! I was told that I'm round and chubby (and BIG) since I was just a little girl - I AM round, but wasn't chubby. I've felt FAT almost all my life. I look back at pictures taken through the years and see that I was perfectly sized! NOW I'm fat for real, but FTS is changing that! Also, I'm so bad at exercising consistently and have been searching for a plan that really works for me - not exercise based so that when you quit exercising the weight jumps back on, because that's my reality - no reliable exercise program. So, this Thanksgiving Day - one of the things I'm thankful for is the FTS plan and family. (Remind me of this when I'm whining about being stuck, will you?)
