What am I doing wrong?

No sugar, fruit, carbs etc for 12 days now, shouldn't I be losing????:'(

Hi Shari, I want you to write down everything you eat and drink over the next week and post each days intake every day on the forum. Let's take a closer look.  ;)

yep shari your either not counting your carbs correctly or your portion sizes are way out of whack:) keep a log of EVERYTHING you eat and we will be able to find the culprit....  :D dont forget to write down EVERYTHING that you consume> >>> even if you think it couldnt possibly matter.

I am umpa ,Dougs wife.If I can help you please ask.I have a column on the homepage where I can convert your favorite foods to fat to skinny friendly.We find when people aren't losing ,they are missing something .You are eating something like Splenda or another food product that you think is low carb,but its not.Post your meals and snacks here on the forum and we will all help you.You should be through detox and losing after 12 days. ;)

Besides the great advice you've gotten here so far, be sure to CAREFULLY read nutrition labels.
Some packagers have been known to lie about their carb counts.

If you see any grain (like wheat & corn) or any "syrup" (e.g. fructose syrup),
odds are that food is much higher in carbs than you think.

Doug and Katary are absolutely correct!... Write down HOW MUCH and WHAT you eat everyday!
I've been doing that since I started and it's been a fantastic help to me!
In fact, I also write down the time of day. This has helped me target and stop eating for reasons other than hunger.
What you do today is what matters!

Thanks, I have been tracking in WW site, trying to combine the 2 diets.  Did blow it today with some popcorn, BUT I probably ate about a  fourth of what I normally would.  I will begin tracking here tomorrow. Is there a special place on the site to do this or just post?
I'm overwhelmed with the response from you. Thanks again.

You can post right here.You cannot combine the two diets.You have to detox from sugar.That takes about two weeks.Then you will be on your way !Popcorn is pure sugar.Read the little yellow book and we will help you do the rest. ;)

Here's what I ate today.
Breakfast 1 egg and 1 egg white scrambled with 4 slices bacon, 2 cups coffee
1/4 cup of pepitas (pumpkin seed nuts) for snack
lunch 1/2 cup cottage cheese, dry lemon sf jello and a dollop of reddy whip (makes a great salad)
1 string cheese, radishes, celery and diet root beer for snack
2 eggs scrambled with 2oz deli ham. ( I usually don't eat this many eggs but didn't have time to cook today)
sf ice cream bar ( 3 carbs, 80 cal. ) snack

theres nothing wrong with that menu:) watch your nut/seeds if they are dry roasted they have cornstarch in them:( & make sure your ham is not laced with honey/sugar:)

Looks OK to me Shari, what's the carbs count on your pumpkin seed nuts?

That's right, owensmath!  :)

NEVER (purposely) eat foods you do not love and enjoy.
If you do, you could open the door for "psychological cravings" of bad foods.

After all, the way this lifestyle will stick for life is if your loving what your eating.
So... Say "Good bye cottage cheese!".  ;)

Hi Shari,

I too am doing WW and Umpa is right, you really cant combined the two..I do WW as a portion control program and I cook F2S friendly... Im a psychological person, so the meetings help me... I also find that writing things down and being 100% honest helps control me...

Today is a blah day for me, but I havent let it get to me... There are good and bad days...
