How would I convert this recipe
2lbs of provolone cheese sliced
8 oz. ricotta cheese
8 oz. cream cheese
2 - 3 garlic gloves crushed
3 tbls. fresh basil
1 tbs. finely chopped almonds
1 tsp. salt.
Mix all ingredients except the provolone, until smooth.  Layer spread and cheese slices.  Wrap until chilled.

I don't see anything that needs to be changed. It looks fine to me. You'd have to watch out for the garlic, but I don't think anything else has a significant amount of carbs. How many servings does this make?

It 's really hard to say as I always make it as a dis to pass and cut into small triangle wedges.  It's really yummy.  You can easily get 12 servings.

Hi Shari,  :)

As far as the carbs go, it looks OK to me too.
But remember the cardinal rule... ALWAYS READ NUTRITION LABELS!

Garlic has about 1 net gram carbs per clove.

Many cheeses don't have carbs while others do.
So be careful!  :o

With many recipes, I figure carbs based on the entire recipe.
Then devide that by the number of servings yielded.
What you do today is what matters!
