I am new to this forum, having just read Doug's book. I am very excited about the possibility of actually getting some weight off. I just emailed a question to Doug and it was suggested I post here on the forum to get input.
My question is..........do any of you prefer to eat organically, and, if so, how do you do that and still have choices in low carb products such as the grainy crackers, tortillas, etc.? Due to a previous health concern, I really don't want all the additives in many of the low carb foods on the market. Obviously, the vege's and proteins can easily be done organically, but what about the other products?
Also, I am still a bit unclear regarding dairy. Is it generally to be avoided or do you just compute the carbs and figure it into the daily total amount allowed?
