What are your Top 3 Must Have items since you started FTS??

Okay you know you have it...those one or two things you have to have in your fridge or pantry since you have started FTS. I have been an FTS'er for 10 months now and have tried a lot of things. Some good, some bad and some that just had to have more carbs than it listed because it made me gain weight.

So I thought it might be fun for us to all list our "Top 3 Must Haves. " We want to know the things that you pick up weekly, can't live without or maybe even your secret weapon. I would love to hear your top three as well. Maybe we can all find new, fun "must have" items.


SherriPie's Top Three FTS items:

1. Josephs Flax Seed & Oat Bran Pitas (4 carbs): I love these, eat one a day and when I don't want to cook they are great to fill with tuna and lettuce. My top must have.

2. Land-o-lakes Sugar Free Whipped Cream (0 carbs): Ya I know..probably not the best thing for me but it's carb free and tastes great at the end of the day on my jello.

3. Walden Farms No Carb/No Sugar Blue Cheese Salad Dressing (0 carbs): I consider this my secret recipe. I love a good salad for lunch and I keep a bottle of this at friends, relatives and have been known to take it in my purse with me. I have tried the other flavors and they were kind of gross but this one works. It can save you enough carbs to have that extra snack later if you need it.

1. SF Lime and Orange Jello with the Land-o-lakes Sugar Free Whipped Cream

2. Koneys & Kraut

3. Bacon Ranch by Hidden Valley 1 carb/2Tablespoons

 Sherriepie I still have not tried the Waldens Farm Blue cheese . I was just so turned off by the ranch that I havn't yet .

Cauliflower (for my fake mashed potatoes)

Pepperoni & cheese (for the stove top pizzas)

and ditto on the Land of lakes Whipped cream...(for everything!!!  ha ha)

My top three would have to be:
1. GG Bran Crispbread (Keep these in my purse as well, and they go great with everything: cheese dip, guacamole, cream cheese, etc...)
2. Low carb tortillas (keep in my purse to have on hand for eating out). I have found, though, that I'd rather just dump out the stuff from other sandwiches, tortillas, hamburgers, etc... and eat them with a fork. I only occasionally feel like I "NEED" the wrap. I use them at home for cheese quesadillas.
3.  I keep eggs on hand ALL the time now. They are used in lots of baking, quick protein meal, etc... I didn't really care for them before.

My latest "MUST HAVES" include my latest craving for cabbage and also for cream cheese/celery. It's weird, but I have craved it for a month. So, I have been keeping stocked up on these items lately.

I forgot about the cauliflower if you had told me last summer that I would be buying bags of culiflower at a time I would have laughed in your face , I love them mashed and roasted with cheese . It is my new favorite food !

It's tough to chose just 3 things as I prefer variety, but I do always try to keep on hand:
1)  SF Jello & Reddi Whip, it's always there in case I need it (I haven't been lucky enough to find the Land o' Lakes whipped cream yet)
2)  Golden flax meal (you can make so many things with this)
3)  Sensato SF Hot Cereal (for a quick breakfast or lunch, they are just 1 or 2 net carbs per serving, depending on the flavour, very filling and high in fibre)

I'm testing this reply because I've written 2 responses and then was unable to post them...got a message that said ,"timed out session expired" and I couldn't post ??? anyone ever have this happen ?

Doug has been working on it for 2 days straight !Poor guy! :D
My favorite 3 are GG brancrisp,italian deli meats and cheeses, and heavy whipping cream (for mousses ,frostings,ice cream ,sauces,etc).

No, seriously -- it would have to be TF low-carb tortillas, Land-O-Lakes whipped cream, and Walden Farms salad dressings, although I used those before starting FTS.

1. Blue Diamond Smoked Almonds (No more than 2 oz. at a time... Love 'em! ;D)

2. Low-carb Cheeses (They are good alone, or with meat, or poultry, or in so many recipes)

3. Sugar Free Jello (or store-brand) gelatin (Everyone should have this on hand)

4. Land-o-lakes Sugar Free Whipped Cream (So good on so many treats... Like Jello)
What you do today is what matters!

1.  Land O Lakes Whipping Cream 0 Carbs...I don't need the jello, just tip it upside down for a shot  ;D

2.  Heavy Whipping Cream for soups, dressings, and sauces.

3.  Sour Cream...LOVE IT!

First -- SherriPie -- CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR weight loss!  DO YOU EXERCISE AND IF SO, WHAT KIND ???

My top 3 Must Haves:
1. UNSWEETENED Blue Diamond Almond Milk (40 calories per cup -- I love milk) !!
2. GG Bran Crispbread (for Phil. Cr. Cheese, Sharp Cheese, peanut butter, etc.)
3. Cheese

Are the last 10 lbs. the hardest to lose?  Have a great day FTS Family !!!  :)
