last night dinner was a success
« on: February 02, 2011, 10:28:29 AM »
So being Latin = lots of no no foods.. One of them being fried breaded steak.. well, thanks to F2S, my family (not I) enjoyed a breaded steak last night. Instead of breading, I used grounded  pork rinds for the crust, and my family LOVED it... I sauteed some onions and mushrooms on the side for them with some brown rice.. They still want their rice, so I buy them the brown rice. I have cut their portions down drastically..

They will eventually not eat any more brown rice once I become more experienced with the different cooking techniques such as cauli rice. I havent tried it yet, because I need a food processor.

I stayed on coursed by eating something different...

I have my weekly weigh in tomorrow, so I am hoping for something.. my scale is bye bye..

Wishing you all a great day.
Alex

Hey Alex, Hope you are having a good day.  We will be successful on the FTS program by eating right one day/one meal at a time.  I'm proud of you for having a great dinner and doing well!  Hope you see some great results soon!

That's great, Alex. That's what FTS is all about.... still eating the delicious foods we ate, but finding ways to make them healthy! Great job converting your recipe all by yourself! I like to make chicken tenders for my family using milled flax seed as the breading. It's so good!
