I only had 2 carbs yesterday - my milk.  I even passed on coffee.
Today for breakfast I ate sharpe cheese (a few cubes-0 carbs) and Oscar Meyer Canadian bacon slices - 0 carbs and 1 carb for milk.  I am pleased with this.  Lunch will be canned tuna and olives.  Dinner will probably be chicken.  I need to make some sf jello today.  Have a great day!

I am not liking this no carb eating. The funny thing is I'm not eating much differently than before it's just the fact that I can't have what I want that is making it hard. This is why I am never good on a diet. My mind says "you can't have that" and instantly I want it. That must be why FTS works so well for peeps like me. I am even hungry and I have eaten more today than I normally do.

So how did you do? Did you stay at zero carbs for the whole day?

Hey Ladies,  I am changing my plan and my mind -- like any woman can !!!
I want my milk and a few other foods, so to be honest, I cannot maintain "0" carbs for a day.  My new plan is to stay "10" or under for a week and see if that makes a different -- also to stay away from the sugar alcohols in sf candy, etc.  Have a great day!

Hi ladies,
I know I'm only new here, but I think that one of the hardest things when you're "dieting" is that you feel like you are starving yourself and can't have what you want and that's when you fail.
That's why I love this program, its so different and I don't feel like I'm missing out on anything.  So what if you have a few carbs - its not an issue, I don't think and it looks like 0 carbs is making you all a little crazy!  (In Jo's case, crazier than usual!!!!), so why not stop stressing about it and try the 5-10 carb a day mark and see if that works?  I may be wrong, but I would definitely fail if I felt like I couldn't have something I wanted, like your cauliflower and broccoli - man if that's all you crave - you guys have it made!
I was below 10 the other day without even trying..if I can do it, you guys certainly can!
Just my two cents worth....

Thanks for your two cents!  That makes "sense" to me !!!  I was just trying something different to jolt my body into losing again.  We don't really need a lot of food for a day -- just smart and healthy choices!  I'm on my last 10 lbs to lose, plus this is my year to turn "60" -- throw in the pot of being "hormonal" and my body is "stuck" !  I will report that I did drop 1 pound over the last 4 days which is major in my mind/body and very encouraging!  Have a great day!
