I have read and responded to several threads regarding medication symptoms being experienced by members as they are dropping weight. Blood Pressure meds and Diabetes meds in particular. Low blood pressure is nothing to play around with. If you're experiencing a light head or becoming dizzy at times like when you rise or bend over your body is sending you a signal. It's very important to recognize why the doctor put you on those meds in the first place....you had very high blood pressure and or very high blood sugar. As you have transformed your lifestyle to FTS you are healing yourself naturally. Your blood pressure is dropping and so is your blood sugar.......but what about your med dosage?
It's important for you to consult your doctor....you are becoming a brand new person. Your doc needs to evaluate your current med needs and make adjustments and it doesn't stop with one checkup. A month or two from now you'll be thinner, your blood sugar will have balanced more, your BP will have dropped again and you'll need to be evaluated all over again.
Remember, your visit to the doctor is a snapshot of where you are now not where you'll be in a month, 2 months, 6 months etc.... Be proactive and make an appointment for a med evaluation....who knows maybe the doc will take you off all those meds completely!
